In a significant move to alleviate fuel costs for Nigerians, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a ₦15 reduction in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, across the country. This price adjustment brings the cost of petrol in Lagos down to ₦875 per litre, with regional variations ranging up to ₦905 per litre, depending on location.

REGIONAL PRICE BREAKDOWN

The revised petrol prices are as follows:

  • Lagos: ₦875 per litre
  • South-West: ₦885 per litre
  • North-West & North-Central: ₦895 per litre
  • South-East, South-South & North-East: ₦905 per litre

These new rates are effective immediately and are available through Dangote’s network of partner fuel stations, including MRS, Ardova (AP), Heyden, Optima Energy, Techno Oil, and Hyde Energy.

Despite fluctuations in global crude oil prices, Dangote Refinery has reiterated its commitment to maintaining price stability for consumers. The refinery assures Nigerians of an uninterrupted supply of high-quality petrol, refined to Euro-V standards, which not only enhances engine performance but also reduces environmental impact.

Consumers are encouraged to purchase petrol exclusively from authorized partner stations to benefit from the new pricing.

This latest price reduction is part of Dangote Refinery’s ongoing efforts to provide relief to Nigerians amidst economic challenges, reinforcing its role in transforming the nation’s energy sector.
